Calibration gas is a gas with a known and certified concentration of one or more components. It is used to calibrate, verify and adjust gas detectors, analyzers, sensors and monitoring instruments, so that their readings remain accurate and traceable.
Mixtures are prepared to customer-specified components and concentrations — see also Customized Mixed Gases.
