A CO₂ cylinder is generally filled by weight, not by setting a normal gas-cylinder filling pressure.
A cylinder mainly contain 30, 40 or 45 kg of CO₂. At normal temperatures, part of the CO₂ is liquid and the remainder is vapor. The cylinder pressure therefore depends mainly on temperature, not directly on how many kilograms have been filled.
